#101 "Marathon Etiquette #2: The David"
When my wife and I stepped into the Galleria dell'Accademia and first saw The David by Michelangelo, we were blown away by the size of the sculpture.
It was so much bigger than we had ever imagined, and were quite surprised. Perhaps it was projection on my part, but the statue seemed to
emanate not only beauty, but presence. It had a vibe. It was alive.
