#122 "Lawn Reports"
I've written dozens of race reports over the years. I must admit that when I posted them in running forums and on message boards it was important to me
that they got a lot of views. I wanted everyone to read them. I haven't written one in awhile, because I haven't been racing the past year and a half.
But rest assured, when I start to race again, I'll be splattering reports all over the web, and I'll be checking them every day to see if anyone read them.
I just find it fun. But what about the neighbors? They might be interested. They're not runners, but I'm sure they like to read a good story.
I know I would much rather see race report signs on the lawn than "vote for me" signs. Though if my lawn was on a street that was like Reddit or Facebook, there would be
a ballot box for upvotes/downvotes or likes of my lawn report. Then it wouldn't be so much fun. A few downvotes sure can mess with your mind and ruin your day.
